Hello. I have received explicit approval from Hoyt, the Development Admin, that I am allowed to announce to you all that I am working on an updated version of the Crafting System.
Yes, I started production today on an updated Crafting System. I have already fixed the problems that occurred from the last reiteration of the Crafting System, and I have already started implementing new features. I also removed the need for a "recipe" to craft something. For example, when the Crafting was available to the public before, if you wanted to craft a Bomb, you needed to own the Bomb Recipe to do this. Now, all you need to know is the way to arrange the items and if you have that and the necessary items, then you can craft it. The only downside with this is that the recipes aren't given away publicly, at least not all of them, so you won't know how to make everything. Once an item is made, the recipe is saved in your Recipes list, though, so you don't have to remember how to make everything.
I was going to make a thread about this, but since you already have we can just use this. If there are any requests as to what should be added with the new version of the Crafting System, please let me know! I have already started implementing EXP and Level Requirements throughout the crafting system, so that you gain EXP with every item crafted. Please detail every aspect of your idea so that, if it's approved, it can be added exactly how you imagine it

I have a suggestion. Commodities. Things that can constitute a healthy player economy. I'm not sure exactly what, but it certainly would add some spice to Ol' West.
And a suggestion I really hope you take into consideration- steampunk engineering. Not necessarily as this big complex alternative crafting, but rather a theme for a good amount of craftable items.
