Well, I actually would bet it didn't take all that long once they started working in it hardcore.

I don't think you'll see a new town/city for quite some time. The areas that are currently available will start to be built up instead. It just seems odd to work on expanding the world when what we have doesn't have much purpose.

That was posted back in 2012, and a lot of improvements have been made since then to the map, towns, and activities to do as a whole.
