Is this what you are trying to explain?
With an actual Jail system this would be hilarious
An item is worth 1,000 gralats
The bank will only give me a loan of 2,500
I receive the 2,500 and buy the item I want
I have to pay 150% more than what I was loaned in less than a week: 3,750
I have 1,500 left over from the bank, and now I need 2,250 to complete the 3,750
I can pay the bank back on the same day and not get charged
Every day I don't pay, the interest rate is raised by 7.14%, until 7 days have passed
If I have not payed the bank within 7 days, I get jailed for 24 hours
I have to be on for those hours to complete
Once I am a free man, the bank's loan limit is dropped by 2,000: 500
And My gralats are at -(#of gralas I still owe the bank)
If your gralats are negative, you can't buy anything
Gain gralats until you are neutral
Every time I want to raise the loan limit, I have to ask for a loan, and pay that amount
The Bank will raise the limit x2 every time I pay my loan on time
Loan Max Limit 10,000
Now that would teach players to spend money wisely
Would be hilarious if there was an npc animation of the Graal City Guards dragging you to the police station for not paying on time.

Stop with all your brilliant ideas, I don't have enough time to spread rep.
