Yea but the people who complained about the melee nerf will complain about any change affecting melee dominance. I think it's just a bandage you should rip off, weapons change on every mmo game.

People want to keep the melees like they are because it's easier to get 3 ppl to hit the flag while taking dmg then it is to kill everyone and then taking. Earlier there was a comment about pk being harder, it just goes to show the current mentality of using a melee to kill within seconds rather then fighting ppl for a min and getting one kill. This creates a lack of competition and all depends on who has more hp.

You don't need stronger guns, as for gun variety that's a secondary issue it is only going to make this debate worst if more ppl invest in melees
