So I've been playing Ol' West for a few days as I'm not enjoying classic (due to the lag) and I've got a few questions

What does a lasso do?
I have a horse, why does it move so slowly and why does it move even slower when I try and move diagonally?
How can I make easy money?
Where can I get better weapons than the ones sold in the normal shops eg Joe's melee. I have the best axe from there and I don't know what weapon I should get now.
