Instead of chests why not just add something that's unique to each job, in Runescape when you mine you sometimes find gems, a system like that could easily work and make it so all jobs offer a chest-type reward.

Awhile back I was also thinking this. I have gems that I made from awhile back and would fit this perfectly.
