Can relate to both sides of the argument here, but personally believe that if both players die, it should be a tie, and that regular spar/regular guild spar should be modified to reflect that.
IRL, if two people are having a duel to the death using bow and arrows, and they both manage to hit each other, but one gets hit a half of a second ahead of the other one, but they both die, I think you'd pretty obviously call that a draw, no? Not that one dude won because he survived a half second longer. It's the same idea.
Also, it otherwise gives an advantage to people who lag, as the person with the better connection is more likely (not always, but more likely) to die first.
On a side note, congrats to deity on the mixed win. Great job with holding lines, being patient, and controlling space. Felt that made the difference in our match against them, we (Blackout) were more just a bunch of individuals all doing our own thing and they had strategy and solid teamwork.
