Going vegan means you do not eat anything that contains any animal products.

Different from a vegetarian (who restrict themselves mainly from just meat), going vegan means giving up food such as bread (has eggs and milk), dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurt), many sweets such as cookies, cupcakes, and cake (has eggs and milk), and essentially anything that is made with something from an animal (namely milk, eggs, cheese, butter, etc.), seafood, and even simple snacks you might miss (can't eat Nacho Cheese Doritos, any form of bread, chocolate, Cheetos, etc.) Most vegans adopt a diet heavily based off of vegetables, and there are many foods that can be found in "vegan form".

Being a vegan is difficult and will most likely be extremely difficult to contain during the first few months of it. However, vegans typically tend to have healthier life style and make better food choices.
