I had similar concerns about my trip to Japan and its giant ****ing huntsman spiders, but I didn't see any. I doubt that you'll think about it when you're there on holiday, unless you actually see something, so don't worry about it.

pretty sure all the cities are in south korea and japan are ratless and spiderless(big ones).
