If you put it that way, the bottom line would be that the mechanism for CTF shouldn't permit boosting anyway. In the past, I've accidentally DoS'd a database server at work because I was testing a very large query. The response from the sysadmins was that it was their fault and that they should have accounted for the possibility. With Graal you've got primarily volunteer developers, and it's not fair to hold them accountable for things they don't know how to implement and are not paid to implement. When someone tries voluntarily, and it doesn't work out, don't hold it against them.
