Yeah, I'm not so sure about that. Maybe she was just tired, but every time I saw Anyu (lll) at MoD, her fighting wasn't what I would called skilled. Anyone can get a lot of kills if they just put in the time.
As for the OP question, everything requires skill to some degree, but don't expect the statistics on a profile to correlate.

Try player killing for 7+ hours straight, and see if you don't decrease in fighting skill
