As much as I love the transformation, I highly doubt you are 3% body fat. Most body builders are nearly 4% and that's not easy. We aren't talking skinny 150 pounds because that's easy to do. Hell, I am 150 and at 8%. I know this is worse than you but if you want to gain mass, its key to gain weight. Now if you were 200 pounds then yeah it would be beyond impressive. 200 pounds isnt even good enough for the true body builders. We all have different goals tho so maybe you are different. I think its great in terms of your height and weight as its harder as you get taller but in the end, you are a growing teenager or whatever you consider yourself and you havent even hit your maximum development so of course you will gain weight and muscle. I naturally am muscular and I am probably similar to you, an Ectomorph. Secondly, I read some where on here that a person was not a huge fan of supplements, it is a preference but its not cheating or anything like steroids. Really, supplements are pretty natural but instead of having to go drink the left over water from making cheese curds(Whey supplement), you can just drink Whey and get everything you need. My goal is to be 200 pounds at 6-8% body fat which is a normal and very difficult thing to accomplish for anyone unless you are 6 foot and weigh already 220 pounds lol. Again, the age, the height, weight and ect. really effect how truly amazing results can be. Of course you look hot as hell but I just wanted to point this out there because personally, I found myself comparing to other body builders when they are in a whole different situation.

do you really need equipment and go to the gym to get results or can you do it without all the fancy equipment?

I'd challenge this and say that it depends on the goal. Yes you need weights, so a gym, to do weight lifting lol. I am sure you knew that. As far as results go, that would depend. If you are looking to be simply toned like Shiz is, then you could just follow his advice or if you are looking to be a little bit bigger in size like a fitness model then there is a lot more to it than this.
