We have a total kills leaderboard. That's not discouraging anyone.

Not a single new player looks at a leaderboard with #1 at 800k and #100 at 140k and says, "That looks really competitive and interesting, I'll have a shot at that sometime soon"

I think the current spar boards discourage more than any other leaderboards in the game. A whole season where, if you didn't start early, getting #1 will take a while.

Staff refuse to break it down as daily/weekly/seasonal points for whatever reason, it's been suggested many times and that's how it should be
And what you just described it literally the exact same thing for the kills and towering leaderboards, be it daily, weekly, or all-time...
