Why do we need to upload them to imgur? Surely this is how GFX gets stolen? What if someone "edits" mine and its gets accepted yet the original didn't?

if you get the imgur link, close the window from there, dont go on and click "proceed" or "upload", im pretty sure if you just get the link it wont upload anywhere (unless you mean if someone gets the link you sent)
