If that went into the actual denial thought process, they could have at least made a submission cap and then people wouldn't be upset.
I don't see why there wasn't a 3-5 recolor limit either, seems reasonable. Now the guy who sent in 3 recolors of his hat is going to be buttsore because another guy had 8 recolors of his hats accepted, "Wahhh, I could have had more." Just seems like it was easily avoidable if outlined a little better.

Just to add on, there isn't a cap to recolors or amount, but the bottom line for submitting is quality > quantity. Recolors don't take long either but that doesn't mean everything should be.
