You don't need to be an artist to criticize art, but people need to realize artists are only human and there are only a finite number of designs that can be made for New Years. This is a problem that stretches way beyond New Years too, every year people have to stress their head out trying to come up with new designs that haven't been done for this and that... If it's weird(because the typical stuff has already been done to death) then they're criticized for it being too abstract, stuff no one would ever wear, and if it's a rehash people complain that it's nothing new and not worth it, and lastly if they opt not to make anything then people complain there were more last year.

Graal has dug itself into a hole when it comes to releasing themed hats and that probably won't change. And players have the right to not like it, but don't blame the artists.
