Yes they will do the same thing over and over because it makes the most money, which is being repetitive.
|
Yes. Whatever makes the MOST money will be singled out and repeated.
|
The way his reply is worded makes it sound like he's saying that by making this change repetition is the direction their aiming for which if you read my reply you'll see why that isn't the case.
|
Your sentence is confusing. Whose reply? Mine? Oh, and *they're.
|
Maybe it was nerfed too much, whatever, but I don't think nerfing it was a bad decision because it gave way too much money, now you'll actually have to invest time to earn money.

This will result in people isolating the next most valuable behavior and practicing it. Looting is a potential, but so is scamming. Rather than lowering the price of bees in general, the spawn rate could have subtly been reduced. In winter, there are (almost) no places to catch bees, so it would not be noticed... and those who had spent days collecting bees wouldn't be feeling ripped off.

It's not that hard to play Graal without purchasing Gralats but people are lazy and aren't willing to put in the work and don't plan ahead for things.
|
Grand generalization. I haven't ever paid to play Graal.
Planning ahead seems to be the issue with the administration in this particular case - rather than having foreseen the high value of a fairly common commodity being an issue, severe alterations of that commodity have been made after introduction to the environment.
|
Just to clarify, I know farming and looting is also repetitive but I'm talking in terms of the methods they use as in now that there isn't a highly over paid money making method maybe players who only focused on it will focus on using some of the other methods made available to them which also produce a good amount of Gralats.

Again, sentence structure. It's difficult to understand what you mean here. Try using 2-3 short sentences instead of a run on.
What I take away from this, though, is correct in my opinion. There should not be an overly dominant activity that is far and above the others in the game to bring in cash. They should be balanced. Looting has a built in balance over time (you can get 5 rare items for 150 each in a row, but more likely 10 common items in a row for 5 each). Bug catching was implicitly exploitable, as was bush farming in days before hack detection.
If deadowl meant his reply in a different way then he can come clarify that but from my understanding of what it sounds like, what I'm saying makes complete sense.

In future for clarity, include the quote you are referencing. Deadowl has several posts.
And cheers for not rage-deleting the whole post for going against your opinion. Seems like progress.
