My suggestions if you're about to start:
1. Determine your goals in regards to what you're looking for(ripped/big/endurance)
2. Do research to find out what are some of the recommended routines for your desired goals(types of lifting/workout schedules/intensity)
3. Make a workout schedule that will fit your current schedule that allows you to be consistent
4. Plan your meals based on your workout schedule (search recommendations for what to eat before and after workouts)
5. grind and reach goal
Notes:
- Find reliable sources for the info you want
- listen to your body it will tell you if you're over doing it
- proper stretching/warm-ups
- Try different lifting exercises until you find the ones you feel good with(machines/dumbbells/barbells)
- First couple weeks should be about getting comfortable with your routine
