Yeah, I mainly choose that distro because of aesthetics. Looking for a GUI with an Aero-like theme. I really like the transparency affects Windows 7 had. Do you know of any?

If you don't get horrible screen tearing using XFCE you can tweak the compositing in XFWM to have transparency effects.
