I can't remember any messages as a staff member where it was necessary to pm me. Have an idea for the server? Feedback. Wrongfully banned/need account help? Toonslab. When players pmed me those types of messages I would refer them to feedback and toonslab anyway, so it was only a waste of time for both of us. Then you get the players who ask stuff any other player can answer, such as how to get flippers or the shovel. Other times players ask you questions like "When will nexus open?" or "What's the next new area that will open?" which staff can't tell you anyway. Lastly, there are the constant pms like "Hi admin" and "How are you?" and other such messages that become so monotonous and time consuming that I kept a notepad document open with generic responses to copy paste back to them. Yes, keeping the staff-player relationship is cool and what makes graal a very unique game, but with the growing playercount it's very hard to keep it like it once was years ago. Staff still get lots of messages even though the sign is gone, and they would get a ton more if they added it back.
