For grip I'm generally good with basically any mouse as long as its not 100% hugging my hand. I feel like I lose a bit of control when that's the case, and I prefer more freedom of movement to it using my fingers. Also I'm quite liking the ideas you're posting these are the sort of things I have interest in when buying a mouse.

In that case, don't choose the mouse I suggested. Its pretty big and hugs my hand a lot. But that's really the kind of mouse I'm comfortable using since my fingers are stupidly long.
If you want something that doesn't hug your hand as much, try the Logitech M510.
Its a lot slimmer than the M705 and still has the side buttons but its about the same length and the grip feels kinda awkward, to me at least.
The length is going to settle this thing into your palm depending on how big your hands are or how longer your fingers are but that shouldn't really put you off since you don't need to move your palm that much during gaming. If anything, you need something to take the stress off your fingers and rest your palm on.

The G303 that Vendetta listed is also pretty good, my friend has one and he says its really cool. But honestly, the cost is what bothers me the most about it considering with 60 bucks you can buy an entire game.
A lot of the gaming mice Logitech make are just straight up bonkers in design. Most of them look like something out of a Transformers movie or something.
