If you guys really utilize guilds as friend storage or some form of group chat then iClassic should legitimize the old/dead families trend (like how I uselessly tag Enguard in my name).
It could be like a guild except it just appends something to your name (or not?) and has no additional effect other than giving you another chat stream where you can talk to all of them, similar to guild chat. Can only join one family. Wouldn't even have to be a limit to how many people are in each family since there's no real benefit other than social purposes. IDK. I'm sure this would remedy needing to be in 15 different friend guilds when you could just put them all in a family.

Love this idea.
being able to set a family tag in your name might be cool, people can own 1 and join 1, allowing them to have 2 overall. That way it's more fair for people who want to own one and join a friends.
although its too similar to actual guilds, except the fact that there's no benefits. Also it would be hard to manage a family without being able to have a news, member viewing and a chat, just like a regular guild.
Edit: Maybe there can be a leader board for combined family stats? Pks, Bks, spar wins-loses, Just a thought. It Would add competition to make your family greater, although it wouldn't be that great without a max family limit.
