I don't find much value in using Omegle because I find that most people who use it are juvenile. I met Leif, the founder of Omegle, once in person because he went to the same department in the same college at the same university, albeit starting the fall after I had completed my undergrad. He gave a presentation about how he had recently used some Flash-related product to add webcam functionality to Omegle, and also commented about an instance in which authorities had contacted him recommending a record retention policy once Omegle became popular.
