GraalAholic, your entire post is defeated as soon as someone asks you why Islam has such violence and when statistics and numbers come out. It is not a coincidence. It is not isolated. It doesn't matter if 0.00001% of Muslims are violent. It matters that Islam is the only religion that we have these issues with in 2016.
What about the Muslim Brotherhood in the UAE? Al Islah Society? Fatah Al Islam in Lebanon, Islamic Association in Italy, UAE Jihad cells, Islamic Association in Finland, Al Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb, Islamic Association in Sweden? Now, you name some Christian or Buddhist terrorist groups that are wreaking havoc on the planet? (Here's where you meme out and say "THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT!" because there's no actual answer.)
If these are all "perversions" of this peaceful religion, then what good is the religion actually doing? The Middle East has a severe lack of scientific and social progress, and Islam is the cause of it all. The sad part is that religion is so infectious and controlling in that part of the world that you're never even given the option of not believing it. You are born into it and you probably risk your life if you ever consider going against it. If anyone needs to step out of their bubble, it's that part of the world.

They may not be wreaking havoc now but the KKK and IRA can be regarded as two groups of terrorists at one point. WBC is probably not far off neither (yes they don't kill people, still pretty crazy though)
You are right that its no coincidence they're Muslim, but I feel like due to the media Islam is exaggerated to be a lot worse than it actually is. People i've spoke to irl who are Muslim say they're ashamed of it now due to events like these, and im sure that attitude is shared amongst the majority.
