I would do what Windows does and automatically change the background maybe once or twice a day.

I've actually got the controls set up for auto-changing the wallpaper, although I've just hidden them in the released version as the functionality hasn't been implemented. It allows you to set the amount of minutes that pass before the app sets a new background
