Hey, I was wondering where I could start to develop a app?

I'm mainly wanting to develop a game similar to Graal and Avalonia, but don't know where to start. I want to use my computer to implement the graphics and animations, and run around to test everything before I release the game to iPhone.

Does anyone have any recommendations for an engine or download for my computer that could do that and be simple?
