I don't hate Hillary, I just like Trump. My issue with Reddit being hijacked as a platform for Bernie Sanders is that the sole existence of Reddit is to provide "social news." That is not what they do with Bernie Sanders. Every thread in /r/politics and /r/news that positively influences Sanders is voted up, and every thread that negatively influences Trump or Clinton is voted up. That isn't how the Reddit upvote system is supposed to work.

This is no different than the influence of a major news network like CNN sensationalizing stories for ratings. Reddit literally has a way to suppress news they don't want you to see and to highlight news they do want you to see. That's arguably more poisonous than anything any major news network does...

So, when will Reddit either fix vote brigading or announce their official endorsement of Sanders? It needs to be one or the other. |
Even you agree the rules should deter people from downvoting Hillary posts, but it doesn't. That's just because there are more Bernie supporters there than Hillary supporters, regardless whether they're paid or not. Reddit users are Bernie's prime demographic, so that contributes a lot to it.
I'm not denying that there aren't people being paid to promote him. I mainly browse Imgur and even the Bernie supporters there call them "bernbots". But when your budget is significantly less than your opponents while they are constantly getting media coverage and you're being shut out, what other options do you have?
