Scenario -- after losing the democratic nomination Bernie Sanders runs as independent. John Kasich aligns himself with the libertarian party and runs as the conservative solution to Trump. Trump and Clinton maintain sizable leads but each fail to accumulate half of the electoral college. The vote for president goes to the Republican controlled House who elects Kasich.

Between Trump, Kasich, Hillary, Bernie; Kasich is by far #4 imo. So I really dont think he has any chance. But if Bernie does go independent, yes, I do think it'll be difficult for any of the 3 to get a majority.
