Towers don't take skill in general. However KOTH did take a lot more skill than a regular tower since your not just sitting in a choke point spamming sword. Your actually moving around and fighting, and there's a much larger penalty for dying.

Just noticed that a lot of SoS people don't like the towers which take more skill so I put 2 and 2 together ;)
