They said nothing about 5k hats or 10k mounts , If you actually read the news like Thallen was saying it states this is the LAST month FOR 1,000 hour hat system and that a new system will be added. For now 5k and 10k will be the same old system as far as we know this might change in the future, but I believe that the 1k was changed because so many guilds were rushing and doing guild after guild for fast and easy 1k and it basically got a bit too easy for some.
