There are plenty of programs to aid people who are truly homeless. I'll donate to an organization that aids the homeless, but never give hand-outs.

There are a many things that can force people to be homeless, mainly physical and mental disabilities; but around where I live the "homeless" people are mostly people who would rather beg for money than work. No disabilities or anything; just ****ing lazy. There are plenty of places hiring seasonal work around this time of the year. Not hard to find a job and afford a cheap apartment. I've done it. I've only had pennies to my name, and I managed in a small apartment.
