It's just that I've been around computers my entire life. There are plenty of things that impress me; scientific and medical discoveries never cease to amaze me. Computers not so much.

That's understandable. I am almost on the opposite end of the spectrum, I have been around computers my whole life and they never cease to amaze me. Its crazy how much work goes into creating this stuff. Computers are a part of science as well which increases the interest for me even more.
