Illegalizing guns isn't implausible though...for whatever reason you want to believe it is, but it isn't. You said "if everyone in that club had a gun, the situation would be less severe"...obviously, but are we going to give everyone a gun? "If one person had a gun"...again, obvious, but why would a person take a gun into a night club (with the intent of having a good time) in the first place?
The growing wings part is meant to make an unrealistic scenario. People can have guns, yes. But...why would I be taking a gun to a night club in the first place? If we ever get to the point where people need to be taking guns into night clubs just in case an attacker may pop up, then there is something seriously wrong.
Just because something will "always happen" does not mean we should stop working towards ways to minimize the amounts of times that it happens. Again, cancer is always popping up, so should we stop working towards ways to minimizing the amount of times it does develop?

You should re-read my quotes before you incorrectly quote me.

In gun advocates' defense, if people at that night club had been carrying guns, they may have been able to stop the shooter from killing anywhere near as many people as he did. There's 2 sides to that gun debate. I'm just not sure that illegalizing guns would actually solve any problem.

Now I may be reading it wrong, but I'm pretty sure that says "people at the night club" rather than "everyone at the night club". What do I know, though?
People carry guns on them all the time. It's concealed carry. It's for your own protection. Does it really matter what you're doing? You could be going to the store, but you carry the gun in case of emergencies for protection. I never said we should stop trying to fix guns, lol. Again, you're making up ridiculous arguments and pretending I said them. I specifically said we need better regulations. There's not much point arguing with you, though, if you think it's plausible to illegalize all guns and confiscate them from gun owners. Although, I'm not sure why we're even arguing because you made the argument with very loose interpretations of what I said, or just downright replacing words like "people" and "everyone".
By the way, incase you haven't noticed - we are at that place where you have to worry about your safety in a night club. You have to worry about your safety at schools, at churches, at stores, everywhere. The argument for "gun incidents will still happen" is because they will still happen!! There's no evidence that taking guns away in America will reduce crime. In fact, it's near-impossible to get a permit in New York City, Chicago, and more cities like that, yet they have the
highest crime rates. Since you like scenarios, I'll come up with one.
Guy illegally has a gun. He goes to a store and starts shooting people. No one has guns, 12 people die, 7 get injured.
Guy illegally has a gun. He goes to a store and starts shooting people. 2 people have concealed guns, they hear gunshots and get their guns out and draw fire to prevent the attacker from shooting people. 3 people die, 2 get injured.
That's a very plausible outcome in those scenarios. I 100% agree that there needs to be better regulations. I previously said that if someone being investigated by the FBI for terrorist ties is able to legally purchase a gun, then there's a major problem. However, taking guns away from everyone is absurd and implausible.
