its not about raw power, the frs/brz is simply underpowered. i get the inspiration and all that (most of it by name and nothing more) but it's flat out unpowered. it isnt a toyota exclusive either so the "o its succesor to ae86" isn't true at all, it's more of a homage by name.

back when the car was first coming out, they claimed they did this so they could cater to the tuner crowd. later on they kept teasing a turbo version but it never came from either side.

200hp 150ftlb in a car that weighs roughly 1250kg is bad.

i do understand the appeal of the car. if i wasnt a fan of 90s/early 2000's jdm i would def look into an frs/brz and mod it out.
