Other countries have different laws and they either work or don't work, just like ours.
So why shut out input from others?

My country is bigger eh and we don't think much aboot guns because they are uncommon and hard to register.

if everyone can get a gun does that mean they have to defend themselves from eachother?

People who are pro-guns usually believe that if everyone has a gun, then criminals will be more hesistant to attempt to use guns against others. If you think about it, criminals who use guns to rob a store or something use a gun because it often goves them power over everyone else. If many other people were also carrying guns, then their power would be taken away; they would no longer have the upper hand. That's usually the reasoning for that side's view at least.
