Idk if this is the thread to say this but I read something about new stats soooo.
If you're changing stuff follow the basic RPG rules k. For guns and stuff, the easily accesible stuff is better than rare stuff. They're machines afterall, and they aren't complicated to build. So that being said, people take notice of good stuff and mass produce it. So rare guns can still be good, but there's a reason why they aren't remade and sold as often.
For melees, it's the opposite. Things that are mass produced come off as brittle and it requires better craftsmanship to create a sharper and lighter blade. Now some manufacturers are good at this and can do them in high quality, but usually those sellers handle hilts and such, while another company works on the actual blade. Under this logic, nothing changes too much. Like poopy zc melees stay poopy as they are mass produced, but rarer ones should be better. The saber being the exclusion however as it doesn't really have a blade, and like what I said about guns above, the machine is easy to build(ofc quality would be much poorer). I do however think that in this logic the maraca shouldn't be the best melee. I love mine, but truthfully the Burrito is of lesser quantity. RN the burrito is only like a smidgen slower than the maracas.
This does hold bias as I clearly don't use guns, but it is logical. Like in theory you wouldn't want to buy a rare gun as it's not tested and no real techniques have been made for it, while you would like a personal melee as they are the most personal weapons.
Also, on the topic of changing stats... Fix the sigil. It's OP at sb where it just changes everyone's keypad binds... Like i've kind of gotten used to it but a lot of people haven't. It's kind of broken even more since it makes it hard to fight the user and they also do like 10dmg
