That's really what I mean. Bans for lagging are discretion-based bans.
It's like if we didn't have speed limit signs. There would be police officers who stop people going 60, some who stop you at 70, some at 80, etc. How the hell does someone know what speed is over the limit?
I'm ranting at this point, but I'll reiterate that I think there needs to be a scripted warning system in place. I'm pretty sure just about everyone who has ever been banned for lagging would not have been banned for it if they knew they were at risk for being banned for it. Warping a player, disconnecting them, or even warning them for "game disruption" is extremely vague. It would defeat that issue and the issue of GPs being able to essentially ban anyone they want with the excuse that they were lagging.
