If you apply to do something, get hired to do it, and do it incorrectly then yes, you should absolutely be blamed. I have responsibilities as a player that prevent me from applying even if I wanted to. I do what I chose to do properly, so I'd expect a GP to do what they've chosen to do properly.

I wouldn't be hired anyway because I'm far too outspoken and have a ban (and immediate unban) in my account history. I've applied in the past.
