The only reason why the items has value is Because the people not Valve.

Valve doesn't even make real money from it. They only make it from people selling it on steam or buying the keys and Sticker packs.

The value is from the players of the game. When a new case comes out the value of that case goes up for a few days which will slowly go down.

This lawsuit will be useless just some angry Gambler who lost all their items
