Skt, 5k hrs for a purely cosmetic edition of a gun the whole team most likely has, that offers no buffs or procs, and is possibly situational depending on the chosen gun, is crap. A gun skin for 1k is a crappy prize. A gun skin is a crappy prize. If i were to lead my squad to 5k, id choose the railgun or rippers because that's what most of my squad uses, but the issue with that is they already look nice, 5k hours for a slightly better looking gun (or melee) is not worth it. Also, youre way more limited to what you can do, at least with a hat it can be a gasmask/beanie/hood/A BOX, you have so much freedom with that, the gun skin limits you too much. At least a hideout was worth it all. And about the whole "5k after 5k" statement, people didnt even do that for the hideout, its sure not gonna start on a gun/melee skin.

you can do a lot with the rail limitations. I've told Vox to make me a giant dinosaur head gun when I was on era. I even had him make a fancy ***** gun. I even showed it to le team. Nobody wanted it in. Their loss.
In fact I reckon you could do a lot more with a gun since theres more sides and the bullets would be fun to do... JS but Decemeber hit me up. I'll make you a nice walmart bag gun which shoots out random goodies. Lit.
PS- gun skins are beneficial. since even when the original is sabre reflect, skins aren't. Also, don't even tell me that a gun is more useless than a hat.
(Imo people didn't base for the hide out. Well acc did. But Darko based cus they wanted to get 5K before another certain squad started up and they thought that they'd never get hours afterwards)
