Personally, I don't use a mount to kill baddies, or do pyrat. But it really does hurt for farming unless you prefer bomb farming.

Also I noticed that when this update came out it started to make me randomly dismount if I'm just going around on my mount, usually places where it switches from pvp to non-pvp. But this might just be me.
