You don't become a multi-billionaire and create dozens and dozens of successful businesses by being stupid. However, Clinton used the "I was too stupid to know better" defense when she was asked by the FBI about why she set up an unsecured email server at her home. Neither candidate is actually stupid, but one is very manipulative and corrupt.

Having good business acumen is different to being smart and being able to run a country. Denying climate change is stupid, his running mate denying evolution is stupid, Trump on with the whole birther issue was stupid, his comments on women are stupid and there's so much more.
Trump does so many ridiculous things that I genuinely can't believe he's a serious candidate.
Hillary obviously has no clue when it comes to technology, and I'm not going to defend her with the emails because the whole thing is ridiculous. I don't see how you can compare Trump's stupidity to hers though.
