Also the Dark web is just a small portion of the Deep web you see and there is a difference between the two but they are often conflated which causes confusion, if you aren't aware of what each term means and the difference between the two it's a good indicator you shouldn't be messing around with the Dark web

I was about to bring that to light... Their is a distinct difference in what they are, and, as Colin said, you really shouldn't be messing around on it. You're asking to become part of a botnet, have your information stolen, have someone become your computers root, or other rather unpleasant situations. Better to just stay away from it.
The Deep web is similar to what Jhenkzi said, but in technical definition it's things that Google spiders(or other search engines) cannot find or do not have access to.
