Use tails and TOR if you want the safest road to the depths of hell. (you can easily find those through google and youtube and also how to use them)
When you're on TOR be sure to disable java applications if they are enabled for any reason.
Also NEVER watch videos, launch apps, download, upload or anything that sends files/data directly. (Tors built in safety measures don't protect you from direct file transfers if you do them and allow them yourself)

With just watching pages you should be fine, I suggest using ahmia.fi as search engine (pretty sure they filter the worst of the worst sites out which usually are also the most dangerous sites to be on in general)

Apart from these tips just don't be stupid and don't assume you're safe.
Best to use a clean laptop/desktop but ofc not everyone can do that so it's a risk you'd have to take.
Also if you feel like anything is unsafe then don't check it out.
