I find it interesting that you suggest a large friend list as a reason to make a santa's list function... Especially when you could just write it on a txt file (or a stickynote if you're old school).

Wasn't a reason for it necessarily, more of a counter-argument. Pretty sure the reasoning was self-explanatory(and built into my previous post).
I specifically did just that for years, and I think it would be convenient to have it be in-game instead of in real life. Instead of having to write names down and refind people you would easily be able to find people on the list, regardless of name changes or losing people in the sea of friend lists.
