Press the homescreenbutton, hover your finger over the app, then press down and hold.
After that a "X" in a circle should appear which you can press to remove the application.
It will then give you a confirmation box where you can press delete again to remove the application.

If you need more help then message me in-game as we all know you won't quit anyways.
