Instances of "false" bans are very, very rare. The vast majority of the time people who claim they were banned for no reason are lying. In the case that they aren't, support.toonslab.com unbans them.
No, there aren't "a lot". That's one (probably the only) example of a bad ban that wasn't overturned.
You didn't receive a few warnings for "reporting a speedhacker", nor were you banned for it. Yes, I did check.

I legit reported a speed hacker in swamp, marshmallow did warned me instead of the speed hacker.
Anyway I don't feel like discussing, you can check it again/see the warning I got from marshmallow or not.
