I used to jailbreak my iOS devices, but honestly, I wouldn't recommend it now. I've mainly been concerned over security issues. In my mind, allowing an unknown program to exploit a security vulnerability to gain root access doesn't seem safe to me.

There is also an added risk of malware when you jailbreak your phone by allowing unsigned apps to run.

But do whatever, I guess.
