Try and give the whole kind of sign a sorta "shine" stripe(s) and maybe have the fireman hat cast a shadow over the face? Or shade some depth into it, it's looking too plain right now, but I love love the message states they are smexy

Also you could maybe try not using black inside the fireman hat, the black kind of takes away from it
