There is no unbiased news source, the trick to not spiraling into complete mainstream media ******ation is looking at every news source you can and taking everything with a grain of salt while doing your own research. It's not hard either. Can anyone actually look at a place like /r/politics/ with a straight face, even after just skimming through?

I agree to an extent but the reality is that "own research" is what leads to the ridiculous conspiracy theories that have no grounds, a lot of people consider "own research" to be watching YouTube videos like InfoWars.
/r/politics is a joke and is obviously biased - /r/the_donald is far, far worse though.
